Crochet hacking

My latest crochet hack is finally ready.
I bought a shiny sequins sweater at our local second hand store @bazarium a while back. Thinking I would make a jacket out of it or something fun.

But it ended up being a sweater after all.
I don't like the short arms and cut them off and crochet a bit between.
I used running stitch as a base for the crochet

The neck line was removed and got a crochet one instead.
I also made it a bit longer removing the ribb and making a crochet one instead using single crochet.

After finishing I didn't like the sequins and spent quite a lot of time removing them ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™‰๐Ÿ™Š

And had to make a little seam outside the original seam as I did want the sequence fabric to show.
I spent quite a bit of time hovering up sequence too ๐Ÿ˜‚
They were all over the floor.

I'm really happy with how it turned out, and I got to use this lovely variegated yarn from my stash. ๐Ÿ‘

As usual I had a very good helper
